Global X Funds, a New York-based exchange traded funds (ETF) provider, said on Tuesday it has launched two ETF products which track the performance of silver and copper mining companies.

Global X Silver Miners ETF (SIL) – which tracks the Solactive Global Silver Miners Index .SOLGLOSI, and Global X Copper Miners ETF COPX – which tracks the Solactive Global Copper Miners Index .SOLGLOCO, are being traded on New York Stock Exchange's Arca platform.
