Prices for Indian iron ore (63.5% Fe fines) softened slightly to $136-138/mt CIF China, following Indian government's announcement that it will not be introducing new export taxes on iron ore.
Prices reached $140/mt last week. But analysts predict that iron ore benchmark prices will rise by 70-80% this year.
