According to the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, the output of China's 10 types of nonferrous metals exceeded 26 million tonnes in 2009 up 3.99% YoY.
- refined copper output reached 4.11 million tonnes
- primary aluminium 12.85 million tonnes
- lead 3.71 million tonnes
- zinc 4.36 million tonnes
- nickel 164,800 tonnes
- tin 134,500 tonnes
- antimony 165,800 tonnes
- magnesium 500,800 tonnes
- sponge titanium 61,500 tonnes.
China's nonferrous metal import and export value totalled $83.2 billion in 2009 down 11.27% YoY.
The provinces and autonomous regions with more than 1 million tonne output of the 10 types of nonferrous metals in 2009 are Henan, Shandong, Yunnan, Hunan, Inner Mongolia, Guansu, Anhui, Guangxi, Shanxi and Qinghai.
The combined output of the 10 types of nonferrous metals in the 10 provinces and autonomous regions reached 18.78 million tonnes, 72.1% of the country's total.
