Market sources reported that cadmium prices continued rising on tight supply, but the increase is slowing down.

In the US, cadmium 99.99% content material is currently around $2.20-2.70/lb, while 99.95% cadmium is up to $2.15-2.65/lb.

"There seems to be quite a lot of interest in cadmium, particularly the 4N (99.99) and the 3N5 (99.95). It's been committed into long-term contracts and spot has been hard to find," one trader said. "To be honest, I don't have any and I haven't had any for a long time."
