Bangka Belitung Province's tin exports in April 2008 jumped 95.3 percent to US$167.1 million from the same period last year.

Tin exports to Singapore climbed 104.95 percent to US$152.7 million in April from US$74.5 million a month earlier, Head of the Bangka Belitung Provincial Office of the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) Syafril Said said on Saturday.

"Cumulatively, tin exports in the January-April 2008 period climbed 388.88 percent to US$776.8 million from US$158.9 million in the same period last year," he said.
