Uranium Resources Plc. said farm-in partner Western Metals Ltd. (WMT) has raised its interest in the Tanzanian uranium project to 60 percent by spending a further A$2 million.

The uranium company operating in Southern Africa said WMT has with this investment spent A$4 million on the Tanzanian farm-in areas since May 2006, thereby completing the farm-in phase.

It said URA Uranium Resources and WMT will now develop the Tanzanian farm-in areas in a joint venture. – Thomson Financial
