The wholesale prices of tin ingot and nickel rose up to Rs 10 a kilo in the national capital on Monday on increased demand from consuming industries.
Tin ingot prices were up by Rs 10 at Rs 1,200 per kg, while zinc ingot (Hindustan) up by Rs 1 at Rs 116 a kg. Copper wire bar prices were up by Rs 10 at Rs 375 a kg while lead ingot (Hindustan Zinc) rose by Rs 1 at Rs 116 a kg on increased demand from ba tter makers.
Traders said activity was subdued as London Metal Exchange remained closed today on account of public holiday.
