Gold Canyon boosts Cordero gallium resource

Gold Canyon Resources Inc. ("Gold Canyon" or "the Company") announced Monday the completion of an updated National Instrument 43-101 Technical Report and Resource Estimation for the Cordero Gallium Project located in Humboldt County, Nevada. The gallium resource estimation was received from Timothy Carew of reserva INTERNATIONAL LLC, an independent mining consultant and Qualified Person.

The expansion of the gallium resource at Cordero is based on an additional 18,850 ft. (5,745 m) of reverse circulation (RC) drilling in 81 RC drill holes completed by the Company in 2006 and 2007. This brings the total drilling to 39,985 ft (12,190 m) in 163 RC drill holes and increases the nominal drill hole density to 100 feet on center.

Cordero Project Mineral Resources above 30 PPM Gallium (Rounded)

The previous resource estimate prepared by reserva INTERNATIONAL (as reported in our News Release dated April 20, 2006) reported indicated resources containing 337,360 kilograms of gallium and inferred resources containing 384,640 kilograms of gallium. The Cordero property has the largest known primary gallium resource in North America and remains open along strike and down dip.

Gold Canyon is very encouraged by these results and is moving forward with collection of a bulk sample for metallurgical testing in partial preparation for commencing a pre-feasibility study.
