Overland confirms significant zinc at Andrews

Overland Resources confirms significant mineralisation at the Andrew base metals project, Canada.

Results returned an exceptional high grade intersection of 30.5m at 8.15 per cent zinc and 11.61 grams per tonne germanium from 181m including 8.5m at 21.55pc zinc and 31.74g/t germanium from 203m.

Also, 7.3m at 1.54pc zinc, 10.14pc lead, 14.24g/t silver from 168.7m, 4.1m at 5.44pc zinc and 20.5g/t germanium from 179.4m and 4m at 5.55pc lead, 10g/t silver from 187.5m.

Economic grades and thicknesses of mineralisation have now been intersected more than 100m deeper than previously defined, with mineralisation remaining open at depth.

Overland shares were up 7c to 81c. – RWE
